CES, the yearly look at the cutting edge of high-technology, is happening now in Vegas. So it’s time again for The Barbell annual rundown of the best of high-tech fitness. As always, there are some incredible innovations in the wider world of working out and workout recovery, this year using AI to boost your home’s water, super-charge recovery, monitor your biomarkers via sweat, and measure your testosterone via your saliva. All four of our selections were awarded the prestigious CES Innovation Award. It’s time to geek out. These are The Barbell top four cutting edge products in fitness tech at CES 2026.

MEDI WATER AI 2.0

medi water AI 2.0

AI is everywhere. And it’s coming soon to your water. Ceragem’s Medi Water AI 2.0 is an at-home, medical grade, hydration and nutrient delivery system. Via fingerprint recognition, Medi Water AI 2.0 analyzes your medical history, current medicines, diet, sleep, and physical activity. It then adjusts the mineral content, PH, and other factors in your water in real-time to meet your wellness needs. What’s more, it stores your supplements (both liquid and capsule) and doses them accurately in the water you drink. Remote app connectivity enables intake tracking, missed-dose alarms, and integration with smart home systems. Designed for convenience and hygiene, the unit features modular cartridges, UV-C sterilization, and self-cleaning cycles. The Medi Water 2.0 has applications for everyone, but we’re especially interested to see how personalized water optimization and supplement dosing can be applied to strength and endurance athletes.

EXOREHAB

exoRehab 2026 CES fitness

EXOSYSTEMS’s exoRehab is a remote therapeutic monitoring solution for musculoskeletal care. It pairs a mobile app and web dashboard with a lightweight, skin-friendly wearable to guide exercises at home while clinicians monitor progress remotely. The wearable reads muscle activity (surface EMG) and movement (IMU) from the skin surface. Those signals are analyzed using EXOSYSTEMS’ Muscle Function Index, a proprietary neuromuscular digital biomarker, and translated into easy-to-understand scores and trends so patients and providers can see progress, spot setbacks early, and adjust programs accordingly. “We designed exoRehab so people can see their recovery, not just feel it,” said Hooman Lee, CEO of EXOSYSTEMS. “Objective muscle signals turn rehabilitation into daily wins that patients and clinicians can track together.” ExoRehab is limited to clinics and research settings now, but we anticipate this or similar technology coming to gyms in the future.

PF-SWEAT PATCH

CES 2026 PF-Sweat patch

Point Fit Technology Limited’s PF-Sweat Patch is the world’s first ultra-thin, wearable, skin patch that tracks health conditions through sweat. Biomarkers that you previously would’ve needed to draw blood to monitor, are now accessible on your skin. The first biomarker will be lactate for endurance & mitochondrial health, while the modular design supports future biomarkers such as cortisol, creatinine, and glucose for comprehensive health insights. Applying the patch is effortless: wear it on your skin, connect it to the PF app, and access continuous data during your run, lifting session, or any other activity. Soon you’ll be able to monitor your sweat to change your workout on the fly for best results.

TSENSE

tsense 2026 CES

Our fourth 2026 CES Innovation Award winner is another real-time, non-blood monitor. Nutrix AG’s tSense is a non-invasive saliva sensor that measures testosterone. Using breakthrough sensing chemistry, it delivers accurate results from a saliva sample in just three minutes. The device is designed for at-home use and connects via Bluetooth to an AI app for analysis, tracking, and personalized insights. Until now, testosterone testing required blood draws with delayed results. tSense eliminates such barriers, enabling frequent, painless testing at home. It delivers real-time access to hormonal insights previously available only in clinical settings. This will have applications for a wide spectrum of men and women (yes, women also have testosterone), but we’re especially excited to see how it affects bodybuilders and other athletes who want to optimize their testosterone levels.
